Yes, it is a full-time graduate program which is equivalent to other M.Tech programs at IIIT-Allahabad.

The M. Tech Data Science and Analytics at the Indian Institute of Information Technology – Allahabad, is a four semesters program designed to develop the skills to analyze, interpret and infer from datasets complemented by a solid foundation of mathematical, statistical and information technology skills.

Reservation policy of the GOI is applicable.

We don’t have any minimum GATE score requirement for admission to the program – which is exclusively decided by the performance in Admission Test. Students who are successful in the admission test may opt for an Institute fellowship only if they possess a GATE Score (valid at the time of admission,) above a threshold (which will be modulated based on the number of the applicant for the fellowship.)

Last session, it was INR 8000 per semester (for double occupancy), which is subject to change as per the Institute Policy.

Looking into the prevailing scenario, travel restrictions and  other social distancing restrictions, the admission test will be offered in online mode only.

An entrance test will be a proctored ONLINE test. The candidate needs to have their own laptop/desktop/tab with a working webcam for the same. This test will be proctored and the candidates will be intimated well in advance about the modalities for the test. Selected candidates will be called for an online personal interactive session.

 

The total duration of the test will be two hours and Total Marks will be 100.
